Our Dress Code

School Uniform encourages students to

develop a sense of unity and cultivate pride, portraying the values of Hoërskool Ellisras.


The dress code includes specific guidelines for both genders, ensuring a cohesive appearance.

BOYS SUMMER UNIFORM

  • Gr 8 -11 boys wear grey school shirts with the school badge and grey shorts or slacks.
  • Gr 12 boys wear white school shirts with the school badge and grey school shorts or slacks.
  • Only grey school socks.
  • Only black school shoes.
  • A plain, black belt.

BOYS WINTER UNIFORM

  • Gr 8 -11 boys wear grey school slacks or shorts and a grey school shirt with the school badge.
  • Gr 12 boys wear white school shirts with the school badge and grey school shorts or slacks.
  • Bottle Green school jersey with the school badge embroidered on.
  • A plain, black belt.

GIRLS SUMMER UNIFORM

  • Gr 12 girls have the school badge embroidered onto the skirt (by the supplier) and a green ribbon around the sleeves of the blouse.
  • Only short, white school socks.
  • Only black school shoes with strings or plain clasps.

  • Green girls' slacks are worn with the white school blouse, or alternatively, a summer skirt, paired with grey boys' socks or regular white socks.
