At the end of the orientation program, each Assie eventually earns their 'R' to then stand as a full-fledged Rassie
taking their place at Hoërskool Ellisras. The clock-in ceremony is the celebration of this milestone.
Starting from 2024, the Time Capsule ceremony is inaugurated for Grade 8 learners. For the 'Class of 2028',
the time capsule will provide a retrospective of this special moment at the end of their school career.
At the end of our Matriculants' journey, this special event is revisited when they ring the bell
as a symbol of 'ringing out' of their high school careers.
This is followed by a special Grade 12 church service in honor of God's grace over our Matriculants'
school journeys and a prayer for a successful upcoming final exam.
